Sold individually. Peyote stitch beaded cigarette form with skull and cross bones motif using size 15 glass seed beads. I created six ‘Cancer Sticks’ in this 2024 series, each comes with their own ceramic “ashtray” display stand. Each of these tromp Loie “cigarettes” have a small bit of “ash” and a red millefiori “cherry” on the end.

Part of Sixkiller’s larger “Corruption of Sacred Tobacco” series. The inspiration comes from the sadness of knowing that originally all of the North American Native tribes considered tobacco sacred medicine, its misuse as commoditized and hybridized inhalable doses has corrupted tobacco into a deadly recreation.
