GMaSpider Graphic_Velveteen Plush Blanket

$20.00

Grandma Spider is a tiny little jumping spider who with her clever mind and innovation brought a smoldering ember to the mainland so the people could have the warmth and light of fire in the Cherokee traditional stories. She is a reminder of the power of the small to change the world for the better. The image is an artist's rendition of the Grandma Spider sculpture installed in Tahlequah OK. The original sculpture is hand sculpted in artist formulated "bronze clay," fired into solid bronze metal and a faceted red crystal added to symbolize the ember she carried in a little clay pot she created and attached to her back with silk. She is sometimes called "Water Spider" because she swam across the water to bring the ember, she will keep you warm guarding this unique blanket!

Create a cozy and warm atmosphere at home with this plush velveteen blanket. It is soft to touch and perfect for any home.
